Three different cases of ritual killings were recorded in different parts of Ogun State, in the first four weeks of the year 2022.
This is according to the crime record for the month of January 2022, obtained from the spokesman of the State Police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi.
The record also shows that six suspects were arrested for the crime during the four weeks period.
It will be recalled that one of the cases include the arrest of four boys who allegedly killed a girl who was a girlfriend of one of them for money making ritual, in Abeokuta the State capital.
For the four weeks, a total of 12 kidnap cases were recorded by the Police, with five suspects arrested.
The period saw 14 reported Cult cases, with 10 suspects arrested.
In total, 29 crime cases were recorded by the Police in Ogun State, with a total of 21 suspects arrested, during the first four weeks of the year.
According to the Police record, 15 arms and 49 ammunitions were recovered from the arrested suspects during the period under review.
