President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas has bagged the 2019 National Peace Award of “The Most Peaceful Actor” in Nigeria, for his ability to stabilize and lead a rancour-free Guild for two years running.
The prestigious award held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja also had other distinguished recipients such as former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, former Head of State, General Abdusalami Abubarkar, Emir of Kano, HRH Sanusi Lamido, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Taminu Turaki (SAN).
Others include Hon. Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniels, Pet Edochie, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Prophet Emmanuel Omale, Joke Silva, Ngozi Ezeonu, Ebele Okaro and Ejiro Okurame, among others.
The National Peace Awards according to the convener, Dr. Suleiman Adejo is an annual award organized by the The Messengers of Peace Agency and dedicated to the recognition of persons and institutions that have remained instrumental to Peace and development in Nigeria.
