The Ogun State police command on Thursday paraded 50 suspected cultists arrested at different parts of the State.
The State police Commissioner, Kenneth Ebrimson who paraded the suspects at the command headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, the State capital, said that the arrest of the suspected cultists were made following their plan to celebrate their groups’ anniversary tagged 7/7 day.
He added that the suspects were arrested at places which include Igbeba, Ifo, Ogijo, Abeokuta, Ado-Odo, Atan-Ota and Ijoko-Ota.
Also paraded by the police boss is a pastor, Oluwafemi Oyebola who has been forcefully having sex with her daughter (name withheld).
Ebrimson parading Oyebola, said the pastor of C.A.C Ogo Oluwa parish, was arrested after his 24-year-old daughter reported the case at Owode-Egba division of the command.
He added that the victim reported that her father started the act since 2015 when she was 19-years old, shortly after the demise of her mother.
According to the police boss, the victim added that her father has impregnated her three times, aborting all the three pregnancies for her, after which he took her to a matron, who did family planning for her.
Speaking to newsmen during the parade, the suspect confessed that he slept with her daughter, blaming it on the devil.
He denied aborting pregnancies for her, as well as doing a family planning for her.
Meanwhile, the matron who did family planning for the victim and was paraded alongside the suspect, Ogundimu Monilola, confessed in her interview with newsmen during the parade, that she did.
Monilola however, said that the suspect lied to her that the victim was an house maid.
The matron said she did go ahead with the family planning thinking that the girl was a maid and because any girl above 18 years can do family planning.
She added that every job has its hazards and what happened to her was part of the hazards of her profession.
Ebrimson also paraded, suspected vandals, a fake lawyer, a fake pharmaceutical drugs manufacturer and suspected robbers.
Listed items recovered from the suspects include, locally made pistols, live cartridges, vest with 7/7 inscriptions, charms, dizepam tablets, Vitamin C tablets, powder for tablet manufacturing, sealing machine, empty packets of dizepam and Acer laptop.
Others include, a Toyota Corolla car marked, AGL-427-FL, 400 litres of products suspected to be PMS, a Jack knife, a pump action riffle, a locally made gun and two wooden base ball bats.
